We need to have food insurance. Just in case you should become hungry at some time during the day you could go to the nearest restaurant and they would serve you for free if you just showed your food insurance card. You wouldn't be able to choose what to eat because then everyone would always be choosing filet mignon, or truffles, or caviar and champagne. Although you wouldn't be allowed to decide what you would be eating you could be confident that the food was safe and nutritious. There might be some people who would want to opt out of the food insurance program and choose what they want to eat and pay for it themselves. This could not be permitted because it wouldn't be fair to those who couldn't afford their own food. Also the program would need the premium payments from every citizen in order to remain financially solvent.I believe that this program would solve all of our hunger problems. It would also eliminate the long and painful process of deciding where the family was going to eat. Every restaurant would serve safe and nutritious food so any one would be as good as the next. And we wouldn't have to put up with all of that stupid restaurant advertising about who has the best food and the lowest prices. I believe that restaurants will benefit greatly from my food insurance program. Since all of the money is handled behind the scenes they won't have to worry about people doing the dine and dash thing or complaining about the food and demanding a discount. And since restaurants will no longer be burdened with competing they can finally concentrate on just serving safe and nutritious food.Food security can be a reality if we all sign up for the insurance program. And anyone who doesn't will be fined or sent to prison.
About 5.7 percent of households, or 17.3 million people, had "very low food security," meaning some members of the household had to eat less. Typically, food runs short in those households for a few days in seven or eight months of the year, USDA said.WOW, thats TERRIBLE.once a year or so, you might not get enough to eat for a few days? The vast majority of the sub-saharan africa wishes it was so lucky.Talk about blowing ***** out or proportion.

"The U.S. spends much more on health care than Canada, both on a per-capita basis and as a percentage of GDP.[5] In 2006, per-capita spending for health care in Canada was US$3,678,; in the U.S., US$6,714, The U.S. spent 15.3% of GDP on health care in that year; Canada spent 10.0%.[5] In 2006, 70% of health care spending in Canada was financed by government, versus 46% in the United States. Total government spending per capita in the U.S. on health care was 23% higher than Canadian government spending, and U.S. government expenditure on health care was just under 83% of total Canadian spending (public and private)."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Canadia ...?
Might as well just buy the CD and rip it yourself. Then you have the full quality PCM, and a physical backup copy of it. Oh hell who am I kidding, just get it off torrent, then Paypal the artist the $0.05 he would have gotten from the CD sale. |
